What is Word500?
Word500 is a free browser-based five-letter deduction game. You have eight guesses, and each submitted word returns only three totals: exact-position letters, misplaced letters, and absent letters.
How is Word500 different from Wordle?
Word500 shows clue counts for the whole guess instead of coloring each guessed letter with its answer. You must work out which letters produced each count.
How do repeated letters work?
Standard and Standard+ use target words without repeated letters. Advanced allows repeated letters, and its clue counts consume each matching target letter only once.
Do Daily, Practice, and Archive use the same rules?
Yes. All three modes use five-letter words, three count clues, and up to eight guesses. Daily tracks official streaks, Practice is unlimited, and Archive lets you replay past Daily puzzles.
